i'm matt and this is a website.

i write in an actual, paper journal because "blogging" stopped being cool in 2001.
the only people who do it now say the same crap as a thousand other people.

occasionally, however, i'll draw something, and i'll want two or three other people to see it, so i'll scan it.

i live in san francisco and i ride the 22.

i have a bachelor's degree and screwed-up sleep schedule from the cranberry melon university school of cucumber science.

i am a cider drinker. i also enjoy a fine tequila, or a rum and club soda. club soda optional.

i know pretty much every programming language out there, but my favorites are probably ruby (without that rails garbage) and c, either plain ol' c, or its objective variant (which is what pays the rent).

i was born in 1986.

i use vim, zsh, and the computer modern unicode fonts.
